If you live in New York State and you’re looking for help or information about child abuse, parenting or family issues, or the child protective system, call our Parent Helpline at 1-800-CHILDREN. A trained Helpline Specialist is available to provide information and referral services everyday from 9 a.m. until 10 p.m. After 10 p.m you can leave your name and number with our answering service, and we’ll get back to you the following morning. The Parent Helpline is toll free and confidential.
If you live outside of New York, you can find your state’s Prevent Child Abuse chapter by calling 1-800-CHILDREN or at Prevent Child Abuse America.
