The Relationship Foundation: A 501(c)(3) educational initiative with a Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum, Healthy Relationships 101. This curriculum has been developed and taught in middle schools and high schools in New York City and nationwide. It is also used by organizations that support those who have been subjected to domestic violence. It uses a process called “Nonviolent Communication” (NVC) that gives one the tools to identify and articulate their needs and feelings without blame and judgment. It also teaches an approach to listening empathically.
