Prevent Child Abuse New York is currently seeking to hire a full-time Training and Staff Development Specialist (FRS aspect of practice) to join our team in supporting the Healthy Families New York network.
Candidates that have at least one-year experience with the Healthy Families America Home Visiting model (as a program manager or supervisor) are encouraged to apply.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to:

Provide quality assurance and technical assistance, documentation reviews and follow-up support to HFNY program staff,
-
Facilitate training for the multiple roles within HFNY programs statewide,
-
Participate as a contributing member of the HFNY state Central Administration team, and
-
Engage in curriculum development (including web-based design and development), research, and providing follow-up support for HFNY Home Visiting sites.
A successful candidate will demonstrate excellent leadership, reflective practice, communication, writing, and training skill sets.
Preferred experience with:
● Perinatal health and child development,
● Infant and/or adult mental health,
● Motivational interviewing principles, and
● Bilingual fluency
The position is full time, exempt and remote based. The position does require statewide travel. Salary is low to mid 60’s with an excellent benefit package and ample paid time off. This position is open until filled. Please reach out with any questions you may have.
