Current Policy Positions

Our mission at Prevent Child Abuse New York is to prevent child abuse in all its forms and our vision for the future is that all children will be loved, nurtured, and protected.  We put forward a strong call to action.  For systems.  For communities.  For professionals. For individuals.

We need to increase investment in the multiple existing primary prevention efforts across the State; provide skills-building training for professionals to enable them to more authentically support family success by alleviating stress; and better coordinate and integrate family support systems and services to enable those systems to refocus efforts on why they exist and who they are serving.
